Sunday 23rd September was a good day for KES! It was great to see so many friends and sponsors at Simon's house in Carsington. Well done Simon for making the arrangements for the visit and all those last minute changes!
The room was buzzing when Joseph and Lydia visited England to meet the first gathering of sponsors.
All agreed it was both a moving and happy experience as Simon and Joseph told what we now refer to as "The Story".
It was great for us all to meet each other and even better to receive school reports and letters from our sponsored youngsters. We thank you for the presents Lydia and Joseph - I sit wrapped in my blanket drinking Kenyan coffee as I type this BLOG on a damp October morning.
Simon's newsletter tells you more (see below) and these pictures tell their own story....
So much was discussed, so much done and so much to do but after the AGM we retired to a local pub and reflected...
What warmed our hearts was how much goodwill there was amongst the people in that room....
We must meet again!
